i bought this phone on the 1st Nov and talk abt problems with the data service hanging up..i had to call bmobile and even use the chat to have it resolved many times which was just a quick fix since it goes back to original problem.. i was informed that it might be the headset and i have 7 days to return..so i’m doin that on the 7th and i’m keepin my fingers crossed that they dont give me any lyrics and just change it and then hopefully i can finally enjoy the service i’m payin for like my bbm actually going through without having to reset the phone..

I recently bought a bb curve (my first berry) and i like it alot. My question is why doesn’t TSTT utilise the 3G connectivity that the phone comes with as opposed to the slow EDGE? Why should I have to walk around with a wifi hotspot.(that’s not very convenient.)
Hi Kevin, firstly TSTT GSM network is 2.5G and not 3G, hence only edge can be offered via the handset. With regards to the hotspot, this is 4G Wimax data that offer faster speeds than 3G could offer,this is connected to your device via WIFI. This device also offers connectivity to (5) devices at the same time.

The blackberry integrates the 3g connectivity. Why can’t i integrate the 4g connectivity with the iphone instead of always carrying the 4g hotspot.
Hi Iphone 4, the iphone models currently available (i.e. Iphone 3GS and 4) do not have 4G connectivity hence in order to get 4G data speeds the WIMAX 4G Hotspot is offered with the Iphone package by bmobile. The Hotspot also offers connectivity to a maximum of (5) devices at a time. GPRS/EDGE data is also offered with this package. It is data at a slower speed but does not require you to carry an additional device.
