Applying for a Package

Any individual customer requiring a personal postpaid plan can apply for these packages.

    • If you are a NEW or EXISTING Postpaid customer, you can apply for the Android Packages. However, if you are an existing postpaid customer, wishing
      to migrate to the Android Packages, you must clear all outstanding balances.
    • If you are a prepaid customer wishing to migrate to postpaid, you can also
      apply.

Please note: Corporate Plan and Corporate Employees Plan customers are not eligible for Android Packages.

How to Sign Up

  • Two (2) forms of Identification
  • Recent utility bill
  • Please note: The utility bills are WASA, T&TEC

Can an existing My Hotspot customer benefit from one of these new bmobile Android/My Hotspot packages?

Yes. Once the customer satisfies and agrees to accept the sign up requirements for the Android/ My Hotspot package.

Can an existing customer with an Android phone benefit from one of these new bmobile Android/My Hotspot packages?

Yes. Once the customer satisfies and agrees to accept the sign up requirements for the Android/ My Hotspot Package.

Can a new customer with an Android phone benefit from one of these new bmobile Android/My Hotspot packages?

Yes. Once the customer satisfies and agrees to accept the sign up requirements for the Android/ My Hotspot Package.

Can a customer purchase any Android phone and benefit from one of these new bmobile Android/My Hotspot packages?

Yes. Customers can purchase any of our available Android phones and apply for bmobile Android/My Hot Spot Packages. The current listing of available Android phones are as follows:

Please note, an existing postpaid customer, who purchased a handset less than 6 months, will not be eligible to purchase any Android phone at the postpaid price or special bundled price. Rather PREPAID prices would apply.

Can an existing bmobile postpaid customer change their price plan to one of these new bmobile Android/My Hot Spot Packages?

Yes.  Any existing bmobile postpaid or bmobile prepaid customer can change their price plans to the bmobile Android/My Hot Spot Packages in accordance with the existing credit policy.

The Security Deposit and Advance Payment are NOT Applicable for EXISTING bmobile Postpaid customers. However, for NEW customers and bmobile Prepaid customers, the Advance Payment is Applicable, and the Security Deposit is waived for the period 3rd June, 2011  to 3rd January 2012.

What is the Credit Limit for Android/My Hot Spot Packages?

The Credit limit for the new bmobile Android/My Hot Spot Packages is in accordance with the existing credit policy.

Do these new bmobile Android/My Hot Spot Packages have rollover minutes?

Yes. These new plans have rollover minutes. The rollover minutes in these plans

amount to two (2) times the plan’s local bundled minutes, as follows:

Force 200 minutes
Velocity 400 minutes
Momentum 600 minutes

Which operators are included in the local bundled minutes?

The local bundled minutes include calls to all local operators; bmobile, TSTT Fixed lines, Digicel, FLOW and 360 communications.

Are the 50 monthly bonus minutes applicable to the bmobile Android/My Hot Spot Packages?

These plans DO NOT receive the 50 monthly bonus minutes.

Can a customer on the bmobile Android/My Hot Spot Packages, purchase bmobile add on bundles?

Yes. Customers are free to purchase bmobile add-on bundles as needed.

What is the policy if a customer terminates the Android/My Hot Spot package contract?

You must call the Retention group at 800 1122 to deactivate the service. You must provide one form of identification (Driver’s Permit, National Identification or Passport) to commence the termination process.

Service and Usage
You may terminate the Agreement before the end of the agreed term, for any reason, but you will be responsible for any service fees and usage charges incurred up to the end of termination or until you stop using the service. You must pay a cancellation charge in the amount calculated at the time of termination, which will be based on the subsidy provided by TSTT to the customer for TSTT equipment or service.

My Hotspot Device
The Customer shall pay to TSTT a termination charge in the amount calculated at the time of termination, on the basis of the applicable subsidies on service and equipment in accordance with the following formula:

2 year agreement:
(Actual months of hire period X one (1) Year Access Fee $475.00) – (Actual months of hire period X two (2) years Monthly Access Fee $199.00) = Balance Payable to TSTT. The Customer shall also pay to TSTT $949.00 for the modem, which represents the subsidy on the device on a pro rata basis. The customer will keep the device.

1 year agreement:
If the Agreement is terminated before twelve (12) months has passed, the Customer shall pay to TSTT $949.00 for the modem, which represents the subsidy on the device on a pro rata basis. The customer will keep the device.

Android Handset Device
In the event the Customer terminates this Agreement for any reason whatsoever before the end of the agreed term, the Customer will pay to TSTT a termination charge in the amount calculated at the time of termination, on the basis of the following formula:

Landed Cost – Selling price = Subsidy/Actual months of hire period (mths).

Please note: Customers will be migrated from the Android/My Hot Spot package to other standard postpaid or prepaid pricing plans.

Can a customer terminate the Android/My Hot Spot package contract, but keep My Hot Spot Device?

Yes, the customers will be allowed to keep the Android handset, however, the customer must pay the subsidy fee for the Android Handset and the customer will be migrated from the Android/My Hot Spot package to another standard postpaid or prepaid pricing plans.

Can a customer terminate the Android/My Hot Spot package contract, but keep Service pricing plan?

The customers will not be allowed to keep the Android/My Hot Spot service pricing plan. The customer will be migrated from the Android/My Hot Spot package to another standard postpaid or prepaid pricing plan.
